Ability for Admin to complete/uncomplete lessons on behalf of students

I keep occasionally getting students who complete a course except for one lesson, and then emailing me to ask where their certificate is. I always explain they need to get to 100% course completion, and they need to go back and find the lesson they didn't complete, but it would be helpful for me to have an additional tool to mark a lesson complete or incomplete on behalf of a student.

To me it's nuts that there is so much functionality when I click on a Participant and choose the various actions that need to be done. There are hundreds of actions. But this critical functionality of simply being able to mark complete on behalf of a student is not an available feature. I'm dealing with this this morning for a student in a different time zone. This should be so easy to do.
