Add “Blocks” or Custom Sections Above Modules for Better Course Organization
Elsa Bonafonte
Hi Simplero Team,
I’ve been building multiple online programs on Simplero, and I really appreciate how user-friendly and powerful the platform is — especially for running in-depth, transformational courses.
However, I’ve come up against a structural limitation that’s becoming increasingly challenging, especially in my professional certifications:
Currently, courses can only be organized by modules and lessons. While this works well for shorter programs, it becomes too flat and restrictive for more complex offerings.
Here's what I (and probably other educators) would love:
The ability to add a higher level of structure — like "Blocks" or "Sections" above modules.
For example:
Block 1: Foundations
Module 1
Module 2
Block 2: Practice & Integration
Module 3
Module 4
Block 3: Advanced Skills
Module 5
Module 6
Each module would still contain lessons, but being able to group modules into thematic blocks would bring so much clarity and flow to longer programs.
This would help both creators and students:
Creators can design multi-layered learning journeys.
Students can better navigate and digest the material in stages.
It mirrors the structure of real-life trainings or certifications, which often follow a phased approach.
Even if it’s just a simple grouping feature (like collapsible blocks with titles), it would make a huge difference.
Thank you so much for considering this — it would take Simplero to the next level for those of us offering professional education and deep transformational work.
Warm regards,
Elsa Bonafonte
