Sometimes the most basic details get overlooked! :) It would be extremely helpful to allow customers to be able to purchase a quantity of their choosing with the ability of the admin to put a limit.

This is helpful for any physical product sale, especially books and other items.

In addition, I would love to have the ability to set certain variations for a product. E.g. size, format, color
