It would be great to have an option to display quizzes AFTER the written/visual lesson content.

For example, a user can work through the lesson and THEN test their learning on the same page/lesson. This seems much more logical for a user flow and for keeping lessons/quizzes/worksheets together.

You can already do this with worksheets on lessons, where you have copy written above the embedded worksheet, so it would be good to have the same for quizzes.
