Be able to have different logos in navigation and footer on 2.0 sites
Sarah Eskildsen-Mortensen
Hey team
Currently the same logo file pulls to both the Header/navigation as in the footer.
In many cases I would likely want two different logo files in the two places, either due to:
- coloring - if the navigation bar is lighter or darker than footer it might be necessary with a dark and light logo for each place
- design of the logo - in the navigation I might want a logo that's horizontal and fits there, but in the footer it might be just the logo icon
I know I can do a global section that acts as the preferred footer, but then I need to add to all pages - would be my workaround.
But would be more smooth if we could have the possibility to add a specific logo for footer.
Thanks for considering this...

For now you could maybe add a dark image that is just the icon and the light image as the full logo in header. There technically are two right now with light and dark and you can control that.

I will reply to my own reply : ) The issue I realized is that the light and dark logo is only for the light and dark mode not background color. so if you choose to hve a dark background on the header or footer for example, the system does not care and will put your light mode dark logo on the dark footer making it unreadable. I have a chosen dark footer but cannot read any of my footer logos since we cannot add a footer image. Allowing an HTML element into the footer list vs just links would allow us to add a new image or logo of choice into the footer.
