Configurable default delivery channels for notifications on membership sites

When setting up the default notification settings for a membership site (under "Notification settings", we can choose from 4 levels:
- Posts & comments
- Posts
- Mentions
- None
Members can choose whether they want notifications on email, Mobile app push, browser or webpage. However currently we as admins cannot choose default channels for our users, so they get both email, app and web notifications.
Suggestion: Let us be able to configure "default notification channels", so we as admins for a membership site can configure HOW we per default want new members to receive notifications.
That would allow us to for example, avoid new members recieving a ton of email notifications (which i know from experience, can overwhelm new members on a site and cause them to turn off all notifications)

I just had the same complaint about email overload from a new member I felt so bad because it was a lot for someone with health concerns.

Michelle LeMaster Yep it is for sure a fine balance between keeping people engaged but not overwhelmed. Don't feel bad though - i hope your new member got notifications adjusted to a comfortable level
