Display scheduled course releases on site
planned
Directory Toolkit
Currently, there is no way to see that a course is scheduled to be released. The way the current functionality is is that if the course is set to be schedueld, it would be in a draft like state until the date you select. Then on that date, it would be published. So it is basically invisible and then with no announcement or anticipation, it suddenly appears.
If we schedule a lesson to be released it should allow the option like Kajabi to see that there are lessons scheduled for release. Example below.
Shouldn't have to setup an automation or preview with dripped acesss complicated manauever when I already have it scheduled.
Also would be nice to see all lessons and the release schedule because I added a few lessons with release date and without any releases it is showing 0/0 lessons which is wierd when there could actually be 30 lessons in there waiting to be released.

Should be easy so long as it's using the built-in "drip by day" function.

Calvin Correli - could it be visible but greyed out even if it's release via automation/emails etc?
Just not with a count down, but instead with a "upcoming" tag or something - so they can see it's coming but not necessarily when. If it's not set up with the drip-by-day function.

Sarah Eskildsen-Mortensen Yes agree I think I have this on another request, but I had to make a fake lesson saying coming soon and release that one, as the upcoming lessons that would be in the system just not active yet do not show at all and seems like the course is empty when they are all just yet to be released. Greyed out or other annotation just makes sense and agree should not need to be a timed one.

Sarah Eskildsen-Mortensen How would we know it's coming?
Maybe it's private, only released to certain people.
Maybe it's purchased via a separate product.
The way simplero currently works, we have no way of knowing.

Calvin Correli if the lesson is set to dripped then it would show.
I would only want lessons/modules to show not courses. Because a dripped course would be released via product or other.
But in 99% of dripped lesson/modules they are released to all who have access to a course.
And maybe a toggle button for "do not show preview" for the cases where they don't want the module or lessons to show.
This is also how I understand the request from Directory Toolkit - it's on module/lesson level not course level (we already have the preview function there)

Sarah Eskildsen-Mortensen Yes to above.
