Lis Alvarez: How does it work. I just went into one of my membership sites (with hundreds of videos) and I don't see a place to favorite.

Do I have to activate something to get this new feature to show? Or does this only apply to videos that are loaded onto Simplero?

I hope this feature applies to all videos no matter where they are hosted! Most of my videos are on Vimeo because that's what I was using before I changed to Simplero a few years ago.

Teresa Sigmon: I have all video loaded onto Simplero and I don't see that too.

Teresa Sigmon: You'll need to turn it ON in your Simplero Labs page: https://www.simplero.com/go/admin/test_track

Then it will show on the course overview. In every lesson (no matter what sort of content it has).

Lis Alvarez: Oh, so it only works in the COURSES? The original post was about having it in MEMBERSHIP SITES so I figured that's where you made it happen.

My membership sites are too big to use as a course.

Calvin Correli: Can you give a pretty accurate estimate when? I´m so desperate, that even though I pay 3000 dollars/year for simplero, I have contacted a coder to create this feature for me, if you guys dont pull through. So how far along is this??

Britt Ziwes: I wonder instead of just you paying someone to do it, what if several of us pool money for this feature request to provide some engineering resources to Simplero?

The challenge for us is limited engineering talent for certain specific areas.

We've found the talent, now we just need the funding.

Beth Barr Jobson can coordinate if you're open to contributing to making this happen this month.

Don't know Nikolaj, but there's no way to really make it happen without being on our engineering team with access to our code base and servers.

Calvin Correli: Nikolaj has also coded a video filter for me in Simplero, so that my members can search for specific yoga videos on my site based on length, intensity, focus etc - also asked for this feature for a loooooong time - and now he is coding the favourites list - sorry - but this is MY ❤️ BUSINESS - and when my members are asking for this feature, I need to make it happen

Just know that as we make updates, including a favorites feature, you'll have to pay Nikolaj again to sort things out then. You're making yourself incompatible with future updates.

Not saying don't do it, just be aware of the cost down the line.

For software it's always the initial cost, and then the cost to maintain the it for the lifetime.

Hi Britt Ziwes, it's in progress. Refreshed course design coming with a new favorites option. I'd say before the end of the year.

We have the designs done, need to free up some engineering resources to get this implemented.
