Hide Video Controls

I would love the ability to hide the video controls on a landing page.
Use case:
I want a video to auto-play on page load, and after x amount of time, I would like the Toggle visibility after page load option to kick in and show a CTA beneath the video.
This works as is now, but with the controls visible, a viewer could fast-forward, pause, rewind, etc., and throw off the timing or finish the video before the visibility timer ends.

Calvin Correli, I hate to be that guy, but the video controls are still visible if you hover over the video. You can still pause, rewind and fast forward.
Calvin Correli
Anthony Guaydacan Yes, that's by design.
At least let people pause if they need to take a piss, and go back if they missed a word or two, no?
Anthony Guaydacan
Calvin Correli Well that's not the functionality I was hoping for. Thanks anyway. I'll move on.
Calvin Correli
Anthony Guaydacan What were you hoping for? No pause? No rewind? No forward?
Or just no forward?
Or no forward AND no rewind?

No pause, No rewind, No forward

Now that's an option. Go split-test :)

It's interesting with these things, right? like with webinars, your best customers (those with more money than time) typically aren't going to sit through a webinar. But they might want the offer on the other side of the webinar. Same with this.
Whenever I encounter something like this, I bail. Or if I'm really interested, I'll download it and watch in a video player that allows me to skip to the parts I care about … or transcribe it and get AI to summarize it for me.
I know I'm at outlier, but I know I'm not the only one who will not sit through that.
I'm curious if you've done any testing on this for your audience?

Hey, Calvin Correli. I'm just like you, I don't usually want to sit through an entire webinar or I'll watch at 2x speed. But the client would like this.
It's a little hard to test without the option to hide the controls.
