hover effect on buttons

Just to spice our design options up a bit, I would love to have a "hover" functionality on buttons. Maybe it could be an advanced toggle setting inside the style guide?

Well the issue it there is a hover effect that is being added and there is no way to turn off or add our own hover effects. This seems like an "easy" add to replicate the functionality for hover edits. Issue is the auto lightening thing is making an already light button a weird off turquiose color on hover and I love the normal button color but have no way to alter the hover effect color change.

Yes, I'd like that too! Used it a lot in the old editor and it feels like a drawback that it's not available in the new one.
