Currently, the search functionality in The New Experience requires users to go to the front page to search the entire site. This approach is not user-friendly, as most users expect the search bar on a site to cover the entire site by default.
For those of us running "search and find" sites rather than community-based platforms, this is a critical feature. Many of my members rely on efficient search capabilities to quickly find answers, guides, or resources. Asking them to go back to the front page just to perform a full-site search is counterintuitive and disruptive to the user experience.
By enabling the search bar to cover the entire site – regardless of where users are –Simplero can make The New Experience a more seamless and efficient solution for all types of sites.
This improvement would make a significant difference for site owners like me, who want to switch to The New Experience but need robust search functionality to meet my audience's needs.
If you agree that this is essential for making The New Experience truly great, please upvote this feature request and help bring it to Simplero's attention!
