Simplero’s standalone AI models are fantastic and highly valuable for our members. However, I consistently receive feedback from users who find it difficult to navigate back to the site or membership area they came from after interacting with a standalone AI bot.

Many users experience uncertainty about where they are in the platform and how to return to the original membership site or page. This creates unnecessary friction and can interrupt the learning or user journey.

There is a clear need for a more user-friendly way to indicate context—where the user currently is—and to provide an intuitive path back to the membership site.

Suggested Solution:

A potential improvement would be to give administrators and site builders a setting that allows them to choose how a standalone AI bot opens:

Either embedded within the membership site, or

Opened in a new window/tab.

Even a simple toggle in the settings for standalone AI bots would significantly improve usability and reduce user confusion.

This small addition would greatly enhance the overall user experience, especially for less tech-savvy members, and help maintain continuity within the membership environment.

P.S. It may also be worth considering adding a dedicated “AI” category on the feature request page, as AI-related features and feedback are becoming increasingly central to the platform.
