Notify affiliate when they make a sale

When one of my affiliates sells one of my products, I'd like them to receive an email that I can customize -- including the name and email of the person who bought, and what product they bought, so that the affiliate can follow up with them as needed.

Yes! That's exactly what I'm looking for! It would be great to have that and I think it's logical (in fact I thought it was already happening until my affliate mentioned never having received that email confirmation.)

I think this is a great idea. Simple & obvious.
The affiliate should probably be able to opt out of this, no?

Calvin Correli: thank you! I think it should be default ON, and if it's easy to allow them to opt out, great... but if not, no worries!
My 200 affiliates who have been getting these notification emails in my other affiliate system... not one person has asked to stop getting them... everyone loves knowing they just made a sale/commission 😄 and it's not like it happens all day long... if someone were getting too many of these emails, we are lucky to have that affiliate 😂 and they can simply be taught how to create a Mail Rule to get those out of their inbox.

The problem is that it only works for new Purchases... it can't work when a purchase has to be manually associated with an affiliate. What Simplero needs to do is allow a new Zapier trigger: "when a commission is generated" perhaps... or when an affiliate becomes associated with a purchase.

Another awesome option would be to send a (customizable) email to affiliate when someone opts into my newsletter, thanks to their referral. I would customize the email to thank them + include my recent content that they could share forward, with their referral link.
