Please add triggers to automations (in the settings of the automation)
Siif Floor
Hi.
It would be nice to have triggers in the automations in the same way as we have triggers on products, lists, link clicks etc. (see attached image).
As it works nok you have plenty op possibilities for contacts starting in the automations. Because this actions you can easily add ass steps in the automation.
But when a contact is paused or stopped in the automation you don't have any thing that can make actions for those contacts (unless you create some complex workarounds).
By adding triggers to the automation-setting it would be easy to manage that is going to happen to contacts that stop and pause in an automation (like giving them a tag, stopping them in another automation as well etc.)
I hope you will implement this
Thank you

YES! And one of the trigger options needs to be that when someone marks an automated email as spam that a tag is added so they do not receive any more emails.
I have had about six people (not a lot in the scheme of 3,200 people) who marked multiple automated emails as spam and they still kept getting the emails for months longer! That's not cool.
(The automations with spam marked were not linked to a specific list because it was for long term contacts who are on an extend automation that loops every six months so they always get one email a week even if I don't produce new content. So when they marked the emails as spam, they were not unsubscribed from any list.)
Ditto, if the contact unsubscribes from an automated email.
At the very least, with spam and unsubscribe triggers available for each automation, I could have prevented the problem I just described.
