I often work with couples and families in my coaching practice. Now that I've added the ability for my clients to specifically include family members in their purchase (using participants) the next logical step is to extend participants to scheduling links so when a call is scheduled by one family member and will include another family member as well (joint session) that I as the coach knows who will be on the call and can eliminate the manual step of adding the partner to the invitation on my calendar.

Not integrating participants leaves the additional attendee out of the loop on vital communications about the call.
