The section on the forum under the 'Publish' gives an option to place a date to publish your forum post which is misleading. I was told this "Setting the ‘published at date’ is purely cosmetic and only changes the date of the metadata under the post."

That's a misleading feature and something needs to be done with that. Maybe adding a note for users so they are aware it's not for scheduling use.
