Scheduling Link -- paying for it -- is too clunky! Clients mess it up too often...

Increasingly one of the core features of Simplero is the Scheduling Links.
Because many of us are service providers, we have clients who schedule appointments with us. I got off AcuityScheduling and rely completely on Simplero now... and I really wish our scheduling software was more streamlined.
Streamlined emails for confirmation & reminder & follow up. But that's another feature request :)
THIS request is more urgent:
My clients keep messing up the scheduling thing because they don't go to the next page to PAY for the event they just booked, so the event is automatically canceled 😞
The reason is that they don't think they need to pay. Why? Because they bought a package of "points" from me and have several calls they can schedule without paying each time.
For whatever reason it is
not
intuitive to go from scheduling to "paying" with points so multiple clients keep missing that step. It's frustrating for them and for me. I hope we can get this fixed soon 🙏🏼
Thank you!
The better Simplero's scheduling system, the more word will naturally spread because clients think "hey maybe I can use this scheduling tool too..."

To some extent, the coaching program could address this. For example, instead of selling 10 points for coaching sessions and then have a scheduling link that costs points to use, you instead sell a coaching program that includes 10 single-use coaching sessions.
However, the coaching program is not quite there yet, but it's a potential avenue for addressing this challenging workflow.

Agreed, you can check my myriad of support tickets on this one but on short I think the points is the issue, it is almost like we have to have a course on how to do this as points is not usual. People get confused because it defaults to money or points and it is not clear to pick the points button to switch from paying and vice versa. We had for a while three meetings show up with wrong variable tags on the calendar which I think may have been fixed, but the auto cancel item is very confusing because it looks like we did it or they did when they didn't. My point to support was, there is nothing to cancel if it was not booked or finalized. So it should not go on their calendar or mine no emails and gracefully goes away if not confirmed or paid. Maybe an email to admin to let me know a certain person attempted to schedule after the fact so I can reach out, but definitely important enough to have an engineer workshop to discuss for those who use to iron out a best way to execute.

Also this is unexpected and not intuitive -- if someone schedules but doesn't pay, several things happen:
1) The event shows up in their "Upcoming events" section on their profile...
2) But the event is also immediately canceled 😞 because they didn't pay
3) Worse -- NEITHER party is notified that the event didn't go through. So we're in the dark about what happened.
