Feature Requests

Recently a new feature has been added to forum posts, comments and lesson comments to add a voice message. I would really really like to be able to turn that off. Either have it off site wise or for each specific course and forum/group (and then have a mass toggle option for courses). Voice messaging is great for some things, but for others it might greatly hinder the workflow. If giving support on a lesson or in a forum, it's so much easier (for me at least, I know some people love voice messages) to go over a written question instead of having to listen to the message several times to make sure you have covered it all. Also the search function can't use the messages, so other users might miss, that their question have already been asked. I also have a fear, that some clients will leave much longer voice messages, than they would if they had to write their questions down. In some cases that is fine, but in others it's not, so that's why we as admins should be able to control if voice messages is an option or not.

I'd like to be able to customise this message. "Post a follow up'" deters those in the community who want to just see something, and it can be hard to get sufficient engagement

I would like a community to be free to view but require a membership or unlocking from product purchase to be allowed to post, replay, or comment. Right now it is either locked down or totally open and no preview read-only option is available.

While the Voice Chat / Voice messages in Forum can be relevant in some cases, i find it doesn't really go well on every site / community. Some places, i prefer written dialogue and don't want to have people submitting audio clips for posts, comments and chat messages. Written text still wins in many ways, it is searchable and often quicker to read than listening through audio clips. Please, add options to turn Voice messages off for selected membership sites (covering all content on that site), forums, groups and courses.

It would be lovely if the colour palette on a site also affects the forum and the courses. Even better: Being able to change the colour palette in the forum and courses individually.

Allow us to select a different preview image that you use as a circle, rather than using the main image. Same can be said for courses if this is happening there as well. Thanks

I just discovered that when there's an image posted to a forum, it cannot be zoomed in / enlarged / seen more clearly while using the mobile app... I wish we could. It seems intuitive that we should be able to zoom in on any image on a mobile app 🙏�

Able to change course page color background in the new experience.

It's recently come up that some of my students need to or want to take a course a second time. They've already completed the course and have a certificate issued. But for whatever reason, they want a new certificate issued with a new, more recent date . Currently this can only be accomplished if they (1) create a duplicated user account, which is not awesome, or (2) do something complicated including creating a duplicated user account, transfering some purchases over, then deleting the old user account to get rid of course progress. I think there's a simple way to implement this: Have a button on a course that's something like "Restart course" or "Start over" or "Reset progress" Lesson completion data is erased If the student previously earned a certificate, the certificate stays, so they could earn multiple certificates for the same course Seems like an easy solution, unless I'm missing something important.

I'd love to be able to generate a link at a specific, exact moment for a coaching client. If they need a top up on point 5 of 7 from an hour long training, it would be able to send them to that specific part at 43:55.
