Feature Requests

It's recently come up that some of my students need to or want to take a course a second time. They've already completed the course and have a certificate issued. But for whatever reason, they want a new certificate issued with a new, more recent date . Currently this can only be accomplished if they (1) create a duplicated user account, which is not awesome, or (2) do something complicated including creating a duplicated user account, transfering some purchases over, then deleting the old user account to get rid of course progress. I think there's a simple way to implement this: Have a button on a course that's something like "Restart course" or "Start over" or "Reset progress" Lesson completion data is erased If the student previously earned a certificate, the certificate stays, so they could earn multiple certificates for the same course Seems like an easy solution, unless I'm missing something important.

Is it just me, but... when I went to check this out, with a customers' mind. My first thought was... "Okay, where do I login?" It's not very clear that you're supposed to click the 'normal looking' text. Also, side note: I can't understand why I'm not able to change the 'black' text on the buttons. Even though it's clearly stated in my style sheet. Customer support told, essentially, "that's just the way the system is." (if I remember correctly)

When looking at a list of lessons, I wish I could bulk edit. Also, I which I could have an easier/quicker time of adding a lesson to the top, rather than always have to put it at the bottom, and then scroll drag 100+ lessons above that — which... sometimes glitches out and doesn't work.

Adding the option to expand or collapse all modules on the front end, as well as in the course editor in the back end would be such a nice addition.

Would it be easy for you to add the ability to choose once own words for Modules Lessons ? You have made it possible for us to choose the word we prefer for Students. And when working with a client, it has become clear to me that some people really dislike the word' lessons'. He likes sessions, and some other people might prefer lectures I think this would make an already excellent platform even better :)

Playlists are super cool, and as a course creator a really useful tool to create cross course curriculums. BUT currently there is no way to stop users from setting their own playlists public as well and thus clutter up the public playlists view. What we need is a toggle to disallow users from creating public playlists.

Hi. Thank you for added the option for multiple additional content to the new community experience 🙌 Yay! I have a request for the design of it. I would like to have the thumbnail removed when the content is expanded. We always have all our additional content expanded by default, and we hide ti toggles. The UI looks cluttered when having both the content and the thumbnail visible at the same time. It makes it difficult for the eye to focus on the content at to spot what you are looking for. I hope you will either add a setting for us to hide the thumbnail hide it when expanded or hide when hide it 'Expand all embedded content you've attached above by default.' We update some of our contnt every month and it would just be very helpful to be able to set dates for Scheduled and for unschedule so it goes from published to draft on a certain date/time.

Able to change course page color background in the new experience.
