Feature Requests

I planned a series of events that required registration. Inevitably, some of them have low or no attendance. I'd like for the ability to indicate that my event has been cancelled, while maintaining the link. For example, I send out an email saying here are the upcoming calls you can register for. Then nobody signs up for the one on Tuesday. On Monday, I'd like to be able to cancel the Tuesday event, but then if someone on Tuesday morning tries to sign up for the Tuesday event because they're reading their email about it, clicking the link should get them to a page that says "this event was cancelled due to lack of interest, please register for a different timeslot" or whatever message I want to deliver. Right now, I believe the only thing I can do is to delete the event, which just results in a broken link if someone clicks it.

What would be amazing... not sure how plausible... is to have 2-way sync. So if I create an event (or modify an event) in a specific google calendar, it gets created (or modified) in Simplero events under a particular label of events...

Two basic things that should be possible for Events: 1) For free events, allow a more flexible registration. Specifically, it would be good if the creator of the event could make First Name a mandatory field, as well as Last Name. Currently, email is always mandatory but name fields are optional and the creator has no control over that. 2) For paid events, if the same order form that works for Products could also work for Events, then the event creator could charge for events without needing to use a Product. An alternative is to combine the above two items: the current order from (1.x or 2.x) is much too complicated for a free event or product. The flexibility in the Landing Page registration process is suitable for free items. So if order forms could be simplified for free items, and attached to events, that would make the Simplero Event feature much more flexibile, as well as making the registration process for free products and events simpler (when they are not being added via trigger).

Love the power of Simplero's events tool!! How great to have event registration all integrated within Simplero. What's missing for me is to have custom fields in the event registration form... such as -- "how did you learn about this event"? Would be so helpful for marketing :)

Right now the event description shows an event cancel option but this is for the client only apparently with a general event page link for them. If I am logged in as admin I should have this same easy click to cancel process allowing me to provide reason and have the participants get the reason for my cancellation on my own events. I did this yesterday and was surprised when I got the email vs my participants not realizing the system did not know I was submitting as admin and my client got no email or notice of why it was cancelled. Right now if I want to cancel the meeting as an admin, I would need to know about and click the three little dots to cancel the event. Then I would have to manually find the participant users and manually create an email to send out a notice as it does not allow you to send a reason for why as it does for the participant. So bottom line why is it not Simplero to cancel my own event and inform participants?

I have multiple weekly on-going events that I have a trigger set up, so they get a reminder right before it starts with the Zoom link. Right now I have to manually add each event trigger by hand.... this is horribly time-consuming and mind-numbing. For a year's worth of event's that's 52 for just ONE event, and we are expanding to include 20 weekly events... please please please consider adding this feature. Thank you!

I'm hosting some events that are designed to be free for my members but not free for everyone else. Can you add the ability to charge for events (without making a "product" for each one).

Hey, I'm hosting a paid event today and my workflow looks like this: register for the event, it has manual approval. Then we will email you a purchase link. Once you pay the purchase link, your registration gets approved. Unfortunately, some spam bot found my event and I now have 250 or so spam pending registrations for this event. First of all, I'd love a way to prevent spam sign-up https://simplero.canny.io/feature-requests/p/block-spam-signups-in-more-situations-events-products-courses but that's already requested. This request is: can I just DELETE event registrations? Right now, all I can do is "deny" or "cancel" but they're still there on my list.

I love the ability to create additional occurrences of an Event Series. Would be really helpful for automations if it can be a trigger when someone registers for any occurrence within an event series. Thank you :)
