Extend Stripe Integration to Support PromptPay (Over 50% of All Thai Transactions!)
Hi Simplero Team & Community! This is a unique request since Thailand isn’t a common market for most Simplero creators — but for us, it’s absolutely critical. Over 40% of all online transaction in Thailand are done with PromptPay. It’s the default way people pay there. We’re launching a Thai-language product and truly want to keep everything inside Simplero, but without PromptPay integrated through Stripe, we simply can’t use Simplero — which honestly breaks my heart. Manual transfers and Zapier workarounds add too much friction, especially for cold-traffic paid ads where a seamless checkout is everything. Sketch redirects to payment pages are too scammy for a first time purchase. The good news: Stripe already fully supports PromptPay — QR code, instant confirmation, refunds, etc. https://docs.stripe.com/payments/promptpay All we need is for Simplero to expose it alongside Cards / Google Pay / Link. I also checked all other Simplero-supported gateways, but none of the major Thai ones that support PromptPay (Omise, 2C2P, SCB Easy, KBank, Bangkok Bank, TrueMoney, ShopeePay, Line Pay, GBPrimePay, Paysolutions, ThaiePay) are available. We’re 100% ready to move forward with Stripe — we just need PromptPay enabled. Thank you so much for considering this. I’m happy to help test immediately. Thank you for taking time to consider this!

Update default English text for Manual Payment guidance
Background: When customers select a payment option — e.g. PayPal or Manual Payment (and possibly other alternatives) — they are shown a line of instructional text that currently isn’t fully accurate or harmonized between the different payment methods. This is especially true for Manual Payments, where the current wording can cause confusion, and in some cases, customers have cancelled their purchases due to the unclear message. Current behaviour: The text intended to provide guidance after clicking Continue is misleading compared to how PayPal instructions are shown. Example: • PayPal (correct and clear) TEXT: After clicking “Continue” you will be redirected to complete your purchase securely with PayPal. BUTTON: Continue • Manual Payment (unclear) TEXT: Payment will be by Manual Payment. We will provide instructions after you complete your purchase. BUTTON: Continue Suggested improvement: Update the default text for Manual Payment to: • Manual Payment (feature request) TEXT: Payment will be by Manual Payment. After clicking “Continue” you will be provided instructions. Benefit: This wording makes it clear that the customer should click Continue to receive the next step. It aligns the Manual Payment process with the clarity of the PayPal text, helping to reduce abandoned purchases and support requests. Request: Please update the default English text accordingly, so that I (and other users who have access to translation.io ) can adjust our localised versions to match the same standard wording.
